9 months

A lot has changed since Carter turned 9 months old! He has learned so much in such a short time. He now weighs 24lbs 1 1/2oz and is 29" long. No suprise here...he is still a big boy. I went shopping for some fall/winter clothes for him and bought at least 18-24 month clothes. And finally he has two visible bottom teeth! I will attempt a picture soon.

We went to the beach over Labor Day with the Pegram family. Carter still loved the pool and liked to observe the ocean. He may have even tasted a bit of both the sand and the water after a wave washed us away.

And Carter has started walking...well taking a few steps on his own. He took about 5 steps while we were at the beach and will suprise us with waking from toy to toy. For now crawling is still faster, but before we know it he'll be running!

I caved in and Carter had his first haircut! No more comb over! He looks like such a little boy now! It is cute and he was a great sport. He even got a lolly pop!
