Over Memorial Day weekend we went to Caswell Beach with my parents sunday school class. This was Carter's first trip to the beach and his first weekend away. He was so great! I was mostly concerned about the car ride and sleeping. The car ride both ways was pretty easy. He didn't sleep much on the way up, but was happy the whole way. We stopped twice for diaper changes. The first one was a false alarm, but the second one was necessary! He slept all through the night and even slept in both mornings until after 6! He loved sitting outside and watching the birds. We made a short trip to the beach. Our timing was a little off, but he got his feet in the sand and the water and we got some pictures before eating. That was the main goal!
